Carly Roland is an award-winning, multi-hyphenate actress, writer, director and producer. She recently won Best Actress and Best Director at the 2021 New York International Film Festival for her film Becoming, which she wrote, co-starred and directed. The film has a successful festival run, winning awards at the La Femme Film Festival, LA Shorts and the LA Female Film Festival.

In 2022 , Roland was considered for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Isabella in the feature Harper. Additionally, she has worked as an actress in numerous productions, including a recurring role on the critically acclaimed series Happy!, co-starring alongside Christopher Meloni.

Other credits include Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, The Carrie Diaries, and Blue Bloods. She has worked in over 100 commercial and voice over productions in her career for major campaigns including Toyota, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Target, Garnier, Canon, L’Oreal, Marriott, and Crest.

Roland wrote, hosted and co-produced Marginalized Murder: The Case of the 51, a seven episode, true crime podcast that investigates the largest, active serial murder cold case out of Chicago. The podcast, distributed by United Stations Radio Network, has been on the Apple Podcast Charts since its debut, and Roland was recently asked to record a live episode at the Fan Expo in Chicago. She has a development deal with My Entertainment to develop it as a series.

A former pre-professional ballet dancer, Roland has trained with the American Ballet Theater and Miami City Ballet. She studied creative writing at Brown University, and went on to graduate from the University of Florida. After college she moved to New York City where she studied acting at Maggie Flanigan conservatory, UCB and Larry Moss Studio. In addition to the arts, Roland has worked as a professional model for over 15 years.
